Drug and Alcohol Courses.

Building Knowledge and Skills

ASCERT provides a comprehensive range of training courses at all levels. In this section you can see the drug and alcohol courses we offer. Many of the courses are delivered multiple times each year. Check the eligibility information for the course to see if it is suitable for you before you register.

Some courses can be provided just for your organisation, and if you don’t see what you need, we may be able to develop a bespoke programme to meet your needs. Contact us to discuss your needs.

If you want training in relation to Suicide Prevention or Specialist Courses they have their own sections on the site.

At present most of out training is being provided via zoom.

Workforce Development Programme

ASCERT is funded by the Public Health Agency to provide a range of free training courses for the workforce in the statutory and voluntary sectors. Most are delivered multiple times a year and in locations across Northern Ireland.

In some cases we can deliver one of these programmes just for your staff team, at your location. If this is what would suit you best, then call us to discuss this option.

IMPORTANT CHANGES TO OUR WEBSITE PLEASE READ!
ASCERT is delighted to announce that we are about to carry out a major upgrade to the training section on our website! We plan to make our website much more user friendly to enhance ease of access for all our learners. However, to facilitate the installation of the update we need to close down our existing training pages for a short period while we implement the changes. You will be unable to use the training section week commencing Monday 25th March 2024. The website will be back up and running on Monday 1st April 2024. Unfortunately, we will not be able to transfer your existing course history from the old website to the new one. This means if you want to retain any information about completed courses, you will need to login to your training dashboard and download any resources or certificates before the 25th March 2024. You will be able to login to the new website which will still be www.ascert.biz just as before. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that this might cause you, but trust that you will find the new website to be a great improvement on the old one!
