Sharing and Learning
ASCERT operates with a culture of openness, sharing information on our outcomes with others and we welcome and are open to independent evaluation of our practices and services.
We also believe in sharing the knowledge we accumulate with others and learning from the expertise of others to champion the development and promotion of excellence in regional practice and policy development across the sector.
Internal Processes and Procedures
ASCERT has in place a comprehensive range of internal policies, procedures and protocols in place to ensure all our services are delivered to the highest possible standards.
All of our staff and associate practitioners receive ongoing training and supervision to ensure they have the right skills to do their jobs. Where relevant, they also maintain professional membership of relevant independent bodies.
External Evaluation and Recognition
Many of ASCERT’s programmes and services are external audited and evaluated by means of regular monitoring and outcomes reporting produced for funders and service commissioners.
In 2018 ASCERT was awarded silver-level accreditation against the Investors in People Standard, demonstrating our commitment to high performance through good people management. ASCERT is also is an accredited centre for OCN.
