ASCERT is a charity providing services across Northern Ireland that address the impact of alcohol and drugs related issues that affect people’s lives.
We are committed to ensuring individuals, families and communities are supported in the most effective way to deal with the challenges they face. We have a workforce of highly trained and motivated professionals who deliver our services, sometimes in a very challenging roles and environments, and volunteers who give countless hours freely to support our work in a variety of roles.

ASCERT Shortlisted in CIPD NI Awards
We were delighted to be shortlisted for the Best Flexible Working Strategy in the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development Northern Ireland awards ceremony that took place on 12th October in the iconic Titanic Belfast.
Nitazenes – Super Strength Street Drugs Linked to Multiple NI Deaths
ASCERT CEO Gary McMichael spoke to BBC News Northern Ireland following the coroner’s findings that super strength street drugs Nitazenes have now been implicated in the deaths of six people under the age of 30 in Northern Ireland.
