There has been one clinical trial that proves Etizolam to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression effectively.

HEALTH RISKS (long term) which includes withdrawal & tolerance:

The long term effects of using Etizolam include memory loss, disturbing nighttime dreams, hostile behaviour and addiction. Severe withdrawal symptoms are seen among those people who suddenly stop taking the drug. Higher doses can lead to hypnotic effects.  There is, at present, very little direct evidence of actual abuse of Etizolam. There are currently no reports of illicit trafficking, production or diversion of Etizolam.
