Course content

This course looks to raise awareness of:

  •          What drugs are being used, by who 

  •          What drugs look like

  •          Legal status & implications for possession/use and dealing

  •          Categories of drugs and physical and emotion effects

  •          Attitudes and values around drug use

  •          Getting help & support – signposting to organisations and services        

  • Who is this course for?

    This course is for anyone who is working with clients, families or communities, as a practitioner, and who wants to develop & increase their knowledge about drugs (including alcohol, volatile substances, prescription medication etc.).

    Accreditation?

    This course is validated by ASCERT. It does not carry external accreditation however it is DANOS mapped and as such can be used towards continuing professional development pathways.
