Who is this course for?
The course is suitable for practitioners, managers and team leaders who need to understand the context of drug use in NI today. It will be particularly relevant to those who do not have a background in drugs but who are now developing or delivering services for clients with substance misuse issues. This course is mandatory for any practitioner wishing to undertake either of the National NOCN Award qualifications in Tackling Substance Misuse

Accreditation?
Accreditation is Optional. This unit can be taken as a stand alone OCN NI accredited module @ Level 3. Additionally this unit can be taken in combination to achieve the NOCN Award in Tackling Substance Misuse (Drug Educator). There is NO requirement to do the accreditation if joining this course.
