  •         How to communicate to achieve intentional & behavioural shifts

  •         Understanding appropriate harm reduction approaches

  •         Follow up support options

  • Who is this course for?

    This course will benefit anyone who has the opportunity to work with clients face to face, especially where that work is more transitory in nature e.g. GP's & practice nurses, school nurses, A&E staff, PSNI, health visitors etc. This course is for anyone who wants to find out how to make a difference by potentially motivating behavioural change through their way of communicating with an individual.

    This training is FREE

    to people working or living in the Belfast and South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust areas

    Accreditation?

    Accreditation is Optional. This unit can be taken as a stand alone OCN NI accredited module @ Level 3. Additionally this unit can be taken in combination to achieve the NOCN Award in Tackling Substance Misuse (Generalist Worker). There is NO requirement to do the accreditation if joining this course.
